对新生代农民工进行职业教育培训是提升其个体素质、经济收入水平和市场竞争力的重要途径。新生代农民工职业教育的参与度既取决于政府的投入力度,又取决于新生代农民工对于这种继续教育的认同度和参与度。科学实证的认知本群体职业教育的现状和存在的问题,并建立规范有效的培训模式对于提升新生代农民工在城市中的竞争力、促进新生代农民工顺利的融入城市社会生活并彻底的实现城市化具有重要作用。

The vocational education and training to migrant workers of new generation is an important way of enhancing their individual qualities, income level and market competitiveness. However, the participation of new generation migrant workers in vocational education not only depends on the government investment, but also on the degree of their recognition and participation in this kind off urther education. The scientific and empirical evidence recognition of the status quo of the vocational education to this group and the establishment of a standardized and effective training model play important roles for raising the competitiveness of new generation migrant workers in cities, promoting their smooth integration into the urban social life and thoroughly realizing the urbanization.
