青年是建设中华民族现代文明的先锋力量和实现新时代文化使命的主要力量。新的历史条件下，新时代青年必须积极担负自身的文化使命，一方面要着力从夯实中华文化的主体意识、注重中华文明的现代性质、提升文化的传承能力与弘扬能力三方面着手，自觉提升自身的使命传承能力；另一方面要注重形成以高度的文化认同与文化自豪去实现高度的文化自信与历史自信，从而主动担负高度的文化使命与文化责任，自觉形成自身的使命传承机制。面对新的文化使命，新时代青年也必须积极以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想凝心铸魂，始终坚持“两个结合”的理论指引，自觉做中华民族现代文明的建设者和践行者，从而不断谱写新时代文化建设的新篇章。

Young people are the pioneering force in building the modern civilization of the Chinese nation and the main force in realizing the cultural mission of the new era. Under the new historical conditions, young people in the new era must actively take up their own cultural mission. On the one hand, they should consciously improve their ability to pass on their mission by focusing on three aspects, namely, consolidating the consciousness of the main body of the Chinese culture, paying attention to the modern nature of the Chinese civilization, and improving the ability to pass on and promote culture. On the other hand, they should focus on the formation of a high degree of cultural identity and cultural pride to realize a high degree of cultural confidence and historical self-confidence, so as to take the initiative to assume a high degree of cultural mission and cultural responsibility, and consciously form their own mission inheritance mechanism. In the face of the new cultural mission, young people in the new era must actively use Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era to build their souls, always adhere to the theoretical guidance of "two combinations", and consciously be the builders and practitioners of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation, so as to write a new chapter of the new era's cultural construction.
