党的青年工作是党巩固和扩大党执政的青年群众基础和阶级基础、为党输送源源不断的青年力量,实现、维护和发展青年群体根本利益,确保党的长期执政和推动社会发展的根本性、基础性、长期性工作。在党的青年工作格局中,党处于领导地位并发挥主体责任,党政齐抓共管制定完善中国特色社会主义青年发展政策体系及其工作机制,共青团承担直接责任和协调督促职责,全社会要形成关心和重视青年发展的整体力量和社会合力。
Abstract：The youth work of the Party is the basics of both youth masses and classes for the Party to solidify and expand the governing of the Party, it has been providing continuously the power of youth, and on the basis of realizing, maintaining and developing the fundamental interests of youth groups, to guarantee the long-term governing of the Party and to drive social development. In the Party's youth work situation, the Party possesses a position of leadership and undertakes the entity responsibility, the Party and government work together to enact and complete the youth development policy system and its working mechanism of the socialism with Chinese characteristics, while the Communist Youth League shoulders the direct responsibility and duty of coordination and supervision, and it is required to form overall strength and joint social cohesion in whole society to care about and attach importance to the youth development.
