五四运动是中国近现代历史上具有里程碑意义的重大事件。借助五四纪念,加强青年爱国主义教育是我们党对青年进行价值引领的基本经验。五四纪念蕴含丰富的爱国主义教育资源,彰显青年爱国主义教育的独特功能,它能够缅怀伟大的爱国主义人物、继承光荣的爱国主义传统、弘扬强烈的爱国主义精神、明确具体的爱国主义要求。在新时代,通过五四纪念优化青年爱国主义教育,需要用好文献资源,进行理论诠释,创新话语表达。
Abstract：The May 4th Movement is a landmark event in the modern and contemporary history of China, and strengthening the patriotism education for youth by means of commemoration of this movement is the basic experience for our Party in value guidance to youth. Containing rich patriotic education resources and manifesting the specific function of youth patriotism education, the commemoration of the May 4th Movement is a way to cherish the memory of great patriotic figures, to inherit the glorious patriotic tradition, to carry forward strong patriotism, and to express definite requirements to patriotism. In the new era, optimizing the patriotism education for youth through the commemoration of the May 4th Movement is required to take good use of the document resources, to conduct theoretical interpretation, and to bring forth new ideas in discourse expression.
