青年兴则国兴，青年强则国强。作为社会意识的青年农民公民意识与作为社会存在的乡村振兴在新时代的农村产生了时空交集，青年农民公民意识与乡村振兴之间具有内在一致性和契合性。新时代青年农民公民意识的科学内涵不仅以社会主义现代化强国建设为总体目标进行“公民意识顶层设计”，同时以乡村振兴战略总要求为基本着眼点进行“青年农民公民意识基层设计”，从而使其内涵具有普遍性和特殊性。在乡村振兴战略指引下，青年农民公民意识培育内容紧紧围绕产业兴旺、生态宜居、乡风文明、治理有效、生活富裕、基层党建等六方面进行详细阐释。
