志愿服务是行为,志愿者是主体,志愿精神是内涵,三者之间有着密切的联系。志愿服务的特点在于自愿性、无偿性、公益性和组织性,并体现出专业化、全民化的发展趋势,凸显出促进公民社会发展和公共精神展现的价值。志愿精神则在志愿者、接受志愿服务对象、社会整体和人文精神几个层面上表现出不同的侧重点。

Volunteer service is the action, the volunteer is subject, and the volunteer spirit is connotation , all three are related close. The characteristics of volunteer service are voluntary, gratuitous, commonweal, and organizational. There are also directions of specialization and generalization, and the advancement effect of it on the development of civic society and public spirit is shown. The volunteer spirit have different emphases respecitively on the aspect of volunteer; of the service object, of the whole society, and of the humanity spirit.
